Special was a TB\/QH mare and Pam\u2019s very first horse.\u00a0 Pam was not fortunate enough to grow up in a family that owned horses, but sought out every opportunity to be near them.\u00a0 Over time, her parents realized that her obsession with these four legged equines was not just a passing faze.\u00a0 On her fifteenth birthday, with good intentions and little financial resources, they bought Pam\u2019s first horse\u2026an unbroken three year old mare.\u00a0 They, of course, broke all the rules for a safe and positive first mount.\u00a0 Fortunate for Pam, Special was (for the most part) patient and tolerant of all her mistakes as they learned together from the school of \u2018hard knocks\u2019.\u00a0 Pam owned Special until she passed and she will forever be in Pam\u2019s heart.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \t\t\n\t\t\t\t
